fraud yeah absolutely i mean i think this entire scandal has been fascinating you know just from an educational standpoint because. you know most of us reporters who are now forced to cover stuff like this because it's so central to the american political narrative in a way that it never was really before we've had to learn about a lot of things that we never knew anything about in these. you know model and insurance industry and what happened to it in the wake of the mortgage crisis is really an incredible story because there's a there's an interesting sort of philosophical question here basically these are you know bond insurance companies or investment insurers so if you are selling a mortgage backed security or a municipal bond the people who pool those investments may also insure them with these insurance companies so that the people who are buying these investments fuel even safer now the question is that these insurers know that they were insuring a crappy investment and just not care because they were getting you know paid upfront in their commissions or were they genuinely hoodwinked b

years, we have not only exposed people to excellent artwork and writing in particular, but we have educate people to become more descript -- to become more effective judges of what makes something good. and people read. people buy books. it's a very book-loving community. and i think the writes' institute has done a lot to enhance that. even on some level create the environment in which people could explore literature especially. i think that there aren't enough programs like this around the country. i wish there were more. the literary community in albany is quite rich, and we are in the feedback loop with it. i don't think such an operation is the write's institute could have been created in the first place without there being not only a strong group of writers formed sort of an -- toward colombia where a lot of new york city writers have weekend holmes all the way up to saratoga and beyond. we have places like the writers' colony there. the writers' groups in hudson, new york. east to west and western massachusetts, and west to syracuse. that's the audience sort of circumference that we
